How do I create a desktop shortcut in Mac OS X?
I have a PS3 and I found a wonderful program called "PS3 Media Server". It allows me to stream any audio or video from my MacBook to my TV thru my PS3 wirelessly. If I have a file or a folder on my desktop, the program works to perfection BUT when I try to navigate to my music files (iTunes music) I can't play them because it took too many steps. I get all the way to where I find the album I want but then I can't "click" on it. If I had a shortcut on my desktop, it would eliminate a few steps and I'm sure it would work. When I click on "Macintosh HD" on my desktop it brings up a "Macintosh HD" window with a sidebar that includes applications, doents, movies, pictures and music. I want to create a shortcut for that "music" tab on my desktop WITHOUT copying all of my music in iTunes (I have a few thousand songs). If anyone knows how to do this please let me know. Thanx!
