VGA resolution problem with Adobe Photoshop 5.0?

Check the vga card spec on the two systems, yours and the pc that the installation worked on. if possible set your vga resolution to that of the pc you were able to install on. if the card/monitor cant support the resolution required you might not br able to install. Also check whether the vga memory is shared or dedicated. if you know your systems' ram and when you check it by right clicking on my computer -> properties and its shows a figure less that what is installed then the vga memory is shared. You could try increasing how much memory is dediacted to graphics
