I really want braces?

Im sixtenn and i live with my mom and two other siblings.My dad lives in nevada and is living it up well my mom is not. My mom is an only parent with three kids. I went to numerous places for bracel but i always wind up with the same answer every time "sorry there to expensive". I really would like to be able to open my mouth and want to smile. I live in the syracuse ny area if any one knows a place around here that may be cheaper then normal please help me.
