What is it about this loft space?

Dream thing. Where I can get stuck in and never be able to get out ???? Now I keep looking in awe at large dim georgian and victorian houses and wondering about stairs going up into these eerie places. But then I guess if you blow the roof or walls off you are in the sky so its not really imprisoning at all. Am I going to explore and DIE in one to be found DECOMPOSED years later ?
