What would be the consequences of the UK becoming a republic?

What would happen to the royal family if the UK were to become a republic? What powers would the President have? Would the country still be called United KINGDOM or Republic of Great Britain and Northern Ireland? Would the other commonwealth nations lose their head of state (being the monarchy) or will that still remain? Do you support a UK Republic?
