Why are people from Florida so stuck up?

Ok I live in Boston and I had a couple guests from Florida. They seemed so ill mannered and they think Boston is nothing but a hellhole. I also had a couple of clients from Florida visit up here and they think that Florida is just the best place to live and they treat us like we're from some small town. Why the hell is this? I mean, just because they live in Florida doesn't mean they're the best at everything. I mean c'mon seriously
