Wouldn't the world be a better place if people would keep an open mind about God?

I'm agnostic as well. Some people simply don't understand that to learn, they first have to admit that they don't know. They'd much rather believe what they're told because it's easier that way. And then they convince themselves that it's somehow difficult (?) to believe everything that they're told. It's a very good trap they're caught in.
